Mild Steel Welding Electrodes

FAIRWELD and SIDDHARTHA welding electrodes are medium coated rutile type electrodes conforming to AWS A5.1 E6013 and IS 814 used for shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) of mild steel jobs of structural importance.

The electrode is easy to operate in all positions and operates with a quiet arc. It deposits a smooth bead with fine ripples, gives medium penetration, least spatter and the slag is easy to remove. The electrode gives a weld of radiographic quality. It finds application in welding steel structures, tanks, truck frames and bodies, earth moving equipment, railway wagons, ships, cross country pipelines, bridges, boilers, wheel rims, LPG cylinders, agricultural equipment, transformer radiators etc. FAIRWELD welding electrodes are approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Gun Carriage Factory, Jabalpur.
